Add rulang and 2 cups of water into a blender and blend well. Pour into a pan with MILKMAID and sugar.
Place over moderate heat and stir with a wooden spoon. When the mixture starts to thicken, add the ghee, cashew nuts, powdered cardamoms and powdered cloves little by little at intervals, stirring constantly. Add the rosewater to taste. Continue cooking until the mixture sticks to the spoon and the sides of the pan become sugary.
Butter a flat tray and press the mixture into a mould. Smoothen the top of the mixture with an oiled banana leaf. Cool and cut into pieces.
