In a saucepan heat the MILKMAID. Add the coconut milk and stir until mixture comes to the boil.
Remove from fire. Add rice and white flour, salt, the egg and mix well to form a stiff dough.
Roll out to 1/4 inch thickness and cut into various shapes. Deep fry on very low heat until golden brown.
To make the sugar syrup: In a pan heat sugar and water until it forms a single thread consistency. Transfer the fried murukku into the syrup and stir until pieces are well coated with sugar.
White flour lacks fiber and eating too much of food with white flour can lead to gaining of weight, be mindful of your portion size.
