Christmas Pudding With Orange Glaze

You will need

  • MILKMAID 200g
  • Sultana 150g
  • Cherries 150g
  • Cashew 100g
  • Strawberry jam 100g
  • Chaw Chaw 100g
  • Softened Margarine 150g
  • Egg 1
  • Cinnamon powder 1tsp
  • Ginger powder 1tsp
  • Breadcrumbs 75g
  • Flour 200g
  • Water 500ml
  • Icing sugar 150g
  • Orange juice (half)

Let’s make it

Step 1
Get a large bowl and add sultana, cherries, chaw chaw, strawberry jam, cashew nuts, cinnamon powder, ginger powder and mix well.
Step 2
Add margarine to the mixture and then add the egg, breadcrumbs and mix well.
Step 3
Finally add MILKMAID, flour, and mix well until it’s combined.
Step 4
Grease a baking pan with margarine. Pour the mixture into the pan. Cover the pan with a baking paper and then wrap it with double aluminum foil.
Step 5
Place the pan inside a saucepan, filled with some water and cook with the lid on a medium flame for 4 hours.
Step 6
On a separate bowl, prepare the glaze by adding icing sugar, orange juice and mix it well.
Step 7
After 4 hours of cooking, let the mixture cool down for 1 hour. Glaze the pudding with the prepared glaze and drizzle more MILKMAID on top.
