Beat butter and sugar in a bowl until fluffy. Next, add eggs one at a time and beat well.
Swift flour and baking powder. Fold sifted flour to the above mixture, at the same time add the milkmaid and vanilla essence. Beat well until mixture is well incorporated.
Divide the batter in to two and add food colour : pink and green then pour into two lined baking trays.
Bake at 1700 C for 25-30 Minutes.
In a large bowl whip softened margarine or butter until light and fluffy.
Slowly whip in the milkmaid and until thoroughly mixed in.
Sandwich the cake with icing and garnish as desired.
