You will need

  • MILKMAID 1 small tin
  • Crushed almond powder 200g
  • Water 250ml
  • Ghee 1 tbsp.
  • Saffron powder 1/2 tsp.

Let’s make it

Step 1
Mix the crushed almond powder and water in a non-stick sauce pan and allow to soak for 30 minutes.
Step 2
Add MILKMAID and ghee place over medium heat and stir for 20 minutes until the halwa pulls from the pan and has a stretchy texture. Add the saffron powder and cook for another 10 minutes.
Step 3
Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly then form the halwa into desired shapes.
