You will need

  • Water 2 cups
  • Black tea leaves or 2 tea bags – 2 tsp or 2 bags
  • Condensed milk 3 tablespoons (adjust to taste)
  • Cardamon pods 2 (lightly crushed with a spoon) (or ¼ tsp ground cardamon if you don’t have pods)

Let’s make it

Step 1
Boil water with cardamom In a small pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
Step 2
Add the crushed cardamom and let it simmer for 2–3 minutes to release the aroma.

Add tea, Add black tea leaves or tea bags to the pot.
Step 4
Boil for another 2– 3 minutes, or until the tea darkens.
Step 5
Add condensed milk
Step 6
Stir in 3 tablespoons of condensed milk. Let it simmer for 1 more minute. (You can add a little more if you like it creamier and sweeter.)
Step 7
Strain and serve Turn off the heat, strain the tea into cups, and enjoy hot.
