  • When removing a cake from the cake tin run a palette or rounded butter knife around the inside edge of the cake tin and carefully turn the cake out onto a cooling rack.
  • Always grease and line the bottom of cake tins with greaseproof paper. This ensures that your cake won’t stick to the baking tin. Remove the greaseproof paper once you turn the cake out of the tin.
