Reward System - Terms Of Use

  1. Nestlé Lanka PLC, (hereinafter “Nestlé”) is launching a website extension for Milkmaid named the “MILKMAID Loyalty Club” hereinafter referred to as the “Loyalty Club” for easy reference) via digital mediums.
  2. The Loyalty Club will be in effect from 18/10/2021.
  3. Participation in this campaign is optional and voluntary.
  4. Participation in the Loyalty Club is open to all Sri Lankan citizens, except employees and family members of employees at Nestlé, its Associate Companies, its Advertising Agency and its Media Partners.
  5. To register as a member in the Loyalty Club, participants are required to provide and fill out the following information:

    a) First Name
    b) Last Name
    c) Email Address
    d) Gender
    e) Contact number
    f) Date of Birth
    g) Address
    h) Password and Password confirmation
    i) Read and Accept the Terms and Conditions of the site and the processing of members Personal Data as stated in the Privacy Notice

  6. By Registering as a Member in the Milkmaid Loyalty Club, members will be entitled to:

    a) Earn Loyalty points by trying out and reviewing recipes.
    b) Stand a chance to win exciting Rewards.
    c) Create a Recipe book which is unique to each member.
    d) Check the members rank amongst the Loyalty Club community through the Leaderboard.

  7. Members may earn Reward Points as follows,

    - At the time of registering to Loyalty Club, 5 points will be rewarded, and an additional 2 points once the profile creation is completed
    - If the member fills out the survey in the Loyalty club, 2 points will be rewarded.
    - With each recipe review submission, 5 points will be rewarded.
    - With 10 recipe review submissions, 50 points and a bonus of 5 points will be rewarded (55 points in total).
    - If the latest MILKMAID weekly recipe has been reviewed within the week of publish, a total of 7 points will be rewarded (5 points + 2 bonus points)
    - If special recipes (hallmark day recipes + competition day recipes) are reviewed within the time period it is valid, a total of 7 points will be rewarded (5 points + 2 bonus points)

  8. Members may redeem their reward points to unlock Rewards by following the steps given below,

    1.Check the progress bar in the “Achievements” page to see the Rewards the member is entitled to claim. The items which are highlighted in Blue in the table below the progress bar, showcases the rewards which the member is entitled to claim.
    2.If Rewards are available for the member to claim with the points they currently have and they wish to claim them, the member must click on the “Claim” button and confirm on the Pop up.
    3.Once the claim is completed, the member will receive an email from MILKMAID Loyalty Club, confirming their Reward and the team will get in touch with the member with any further details.

  9. Participants may claim the following rewards, given that,

    1. The member has earned the respective number of points
    2. The member wishes to redeem the earned reward points and claim the respective rewards

  10. Members may share their Recipe Reviews and earn points through following the steps given below,

    1. Type the name of the MILKMAID Recipe which the member has tried in the “Recipe Name” section and select the correct Recipe name which appears on the drop down.
    2. Upload a photo of the relevant dessert the prepared by the member in the “Upload Image” section. Members may upload up to 5 images in the following extensions: gif, png, jpg and jpeg.
    3. Rate the recipe on a scale of 1-5 based on the members experience, by clicking on the star rating.
    4. Write the members recipe experience as a comment in the feedback section and click on the “Submit” Button.

  11. Members may create their own Recipe Book in the “Recipe Book” page by following the steps below,

    1. Add a Title name to the recipe book as preferred, in the “Create Recipe Book” section.
    2. Click the “Create Recipe Book” button.
    3. Go to “All Recipes/ Specific Recipe Category/ Recipe Page”.
    4. Once the member identifies their favorite recipe from the page, click on the heart icon at the top of the recipe thumbnail and add the recipe to their Recipe Book
    5. Once the member clicks the Heart Icon, a pop up will be opened, and he or she may select the recipe book that has been created from the drop down menu
    6. Click the “Save Recipe” Button
    7. Check the Recipe Book section in members profile to see the saved Recipe Book.

  12. Any issues related to claiming the Rewards or any complaints with regard to the receipt of reward items, should contact Nestlé Lanka Consumer Services hotline (0094)0114724724.
  13. However, Nestlé shall not be liable to any complaints due to negligence or acts of omission committed by the reward winners.
  14. Reward Winners will be informed how to and when to collect the rewards.

    a) The decision of NESTLÉ on the selection of the Winners shall be final and binding and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
    b) The winners shall be entitled rewards that are decided by NESTLÉ.
    c) The winners must provide a photocopy/image of their National Identity Card and details requested by NESTLE.
    d) Award of rewards is subject to the verification by NESTLÉ. NESTLÉ shall use basic audit standards to verify the legitimacy of the Winner. In case there are any conflicts in the legitimacy of the Winner, NESTLÉ is entitled to quash the reward at any given point against such claimed Winner or Participant. In case the Winner(s) are not verified internally or not reachable or they cannot redeem the reward for any reason whatsoever, NESTLÉ will reserve the right to pass on the reward to another member without any further notice to the Reward Winner.
    e) In case a member is not contacted/intimated/declared as a reward winner, it shall automatically mean that the person's name has not come through the process and that he/she is not a Winner.
    f) The Rewards are non-transferable.
    g) The Reward points earned by a member will be valid for a period of one year. The member will be notified via email 2 weeks prior to the expiration of his/her loyalty points.
    h) The Reward points earned by a member from October 2021 will be carried forward to the year 2022. This will only be effective for this year (2021) - Members who joined the Loyalty club from 18th October 2021 to December 31st 2021.
    i) By participating in this Loyalty Club, it permits NESTLÉ to use the Participant's name, photo, voice, entry, and other relevant details for purposes of publicity, edition, presentation, brand study, market research, advertising and/or trade without further approval, permission, compensation or notice for unlimited period.
    j) No consideration is payable by NESTLÉ against use of any Recipe Reviews received for the Loyalty Club.
    k) NESTLÉ reserves the right to reject, delete, or remove any Review without assigning any reason thereof. Any decision taken by NESTLÉ for rejecting, deleting or removing any Review shall be final and binding and not subject to any dispute or challenge.
    l) The Recipe reviews published by members should not contain any offensive, defamatory, indecent, abusive content, pictorial representation or language that can in any manner be deemed as offensive by any section of society or prohibited under any religion or law. NESTLÉ reserves its rights to cancel or remove any entry or usage of the campaign by any participant at any point of time, at its discretion. The decision of NESTLÉ shall be final and binding on this.
    m) Failure of the Member to adhere to the above, gives the right to NESTLÉ to remove the Member from the Loyalty Club.
    n) The participant undertakes that the content submitted by him/her for the Loyalty Club shall not violate or infringe the Intellectual Property Rights of any third party. The participant shall be solely liable for the violation of the same.
    o) Hereby agrees that the Participant has taken requisite permission from any and all such person/s and or property owner whose image/ picture/ or any form of property is included in the content provided by the Participant towards the Loyalty Club. In case of any disputes/ complaints raised by such third party shall be the liability of the Participant. NESTLÉ is not responsible to address such issues or complaints from any party/ third party/ Participant.
    p) NESTLÉ reserves the right to withdraw, change, defer, alter or cancel the Loyalty Club in part or full, or change any or all of the terms and conditions that are applicable, without giving prior intimation/notice of any kind and will not be liable for any consequential losses/damages. Any decision of NESTLÉ in this regard and in general with respect to this the Loyalty Club and the terms and conditions thereto shall be final, binding.
    q) NESTLÉ shall not be liable for any loss or damage due to Act of God, Governmental actions, other Force Majeure circumstances and shall not be liable to pay any amount as compensation or otherwise for any such loss.
    r) Nestle will not be held liable for any warranty claims or defective rewards, the respective manufacturer/ vendor will be held responsible for any damages or defects .

  15. If a participant is dissatisfied with the Loyalty Club and/or the terms and conditions of the Loyalty Club, his/her sole and exclusive remedy is to not to participate in the campaign.
  16. The current Milkmaid Loyalty Club Points & Rewards Scheme will be valid until the 31st of October 2021.
  17. Once the accumulated points are redeemed by the members, the total number of loyalty points earned will be reduced by the number of points redeemed, and the level you are currently in will reset.
