Step 1
Mix flour and yeast for 30 seconds and add all the dry ingredients and mix well.
Step 2
Add water and Milkmaid into the flour, mix well until absorbed into the dough.
Step 3
Add egg yolk and vanilla essence to the dough. Finally, add butter and knead.
Step 4
Place the dough in a floured bowl, cover and allow to rinse in a slightly warm place for about 25Mins.
Step 5
Dust a pastry board with flour. Roll the dough on it to 1-inch thickness. Cut out 30g round pieces and set aside for 30Mins.
Step 6
Deep fry in heated oil until golden brown and let cool.
Step 7
Mix 300g icing sugar and 100ml water and mix till silky texture, add coloring of choice and mix well.
Step 8
Dip donut in icing mix and serve with garnish of choice
