MILKMAID Eggless Chocolate Cake
Sift cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda and flour together. Combine MILKMAID, butter , water and vanilla essence in a bowl. Stir the dry ingredients, including dates into the MILKMAID mixture until just combined.
Pour the mixture into a lined baking tray. Bake in a pre-heated 150 C over for 45 minutes.
Cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes, then remove from tin and cool completely.
To prepare the icing, place butter in a bowl. Add the sifted cocoa powder and icing sugar and sufficient hot water and mix to a smooth but firm consistency
Ice the cake once cooled.
