MILKMAID Bread Pudding

You will need

  • MILKMAID 1 small tin
  • Milk 2 cups
  • Bread 6 slices
  • Eggs (well beaten) 6
  • Butter 35g
  • Plums 50g
  • Cashew nuts 20g
  • Sugar 3 tbsp.
  • Water 2 tbsp

Let’s make it

Step 1
Add 3 tbsp. of sugar into a small pan and add the 2 tbsp. of water. Melt the sugar till golden brown. Butter the baking tray and pour the caramel in and let it dry.
Step 2
Spread butter on the slices of bread and cut in to 4.
Step 3
Mix the MILKMAID, eggs and milk.
Step 4
Line a layer of bread on a baking tray (preferably 8x6 inch tray) add some Plums and a layer of the mixed MILKMAID (use a Table spoon to pour the mixture make sure your cover is very thin) do this method till the bread is over.
Step 5
Pour the last mixture of the MILKMAID on top and bake in a pre-heated oven 150°C for 30 – 40 minutes till the top is golden brown.
Step 6
You may decorate with cashew nuts. Cool it and serve.
