Beat butter, sugar, vanilla and salt by using an electric mixer.
Mix flour into butter mixture to make a smooth dough. Press the dough into a 9 inch tart pan and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Whisk sugar, eggs, orange zest, orange juice and flour in a bowl until smooth.
Pour orange filling into crust. Pre-heat the oven to 175°C and bake until the filling is set for about 20 minutes.
Cool completely and refrigerate before serving.
