Eggs contain many vitamins and minerals that are an essential part of a healthy, balanced diet. They are also an excellent source of proteins.
Beat the eggs slightly. Mix the MILKMAID with water and add to the eggs. Add the vanilla essence and salt to the mixture.
Trim the crusts from the bread slices and cut each slice into halves. Dip the slices of bread into the egg mixture.
Heat about 1 tbsp. of butter or margarine in a frying pan.
Carefully place the bread in pan and cook the bread over moderate heat for about 4 minutes on each side, until golden brown. Heat more butter or margarine and fry the balance bread similarly.
Serve the French toast with butter, marmalade or honey.
