You will need

  • MILKMAID 1 small tin
  • Lemon juice 1/2 cup
  • grated Lemon zest 1 tsp
  • Egg yolks 3
  • crumb crust (8-inch) 1
  • Meringue:
  • Egg whites 3
  • Cream of tartar 1/4 tsp
  • Sugar 1/4 cup

Let’s make it

Step 1
In medium bowl, combine MILKMAID, lemon juice and zest; blend in egg yolks. Pour into cooled crust.
Step 2
Preheat oven to 160 c.
Step 3
Beat egg whites with cream of tartar until soft peaks from. Gradually beat in the sugar until stiff. Spread over filling; seal to edge of crust. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until meringue is golden brown.
